Q: How many miles should a brand new Acura TL have when it comes from the factory?
Im buying a new Acura TL and i was wondering how many miles an Acura tl has when it comes into the dealers lot. In other words, when its coming from the factory.
A: I used to work for a Honda-Acura dealership. When they would come off the truck, the most I ever saw one have on it was 2 miles. That is the most that any new car should have on it.
Q: Why has my 1997 Acura CL stopped beeping when i lock and unlock it?
I have a 1997 Acura CL and it used to beep when i locked and unlocked it. About a week ago it stopped beeping and I havn't figured out why? Any ideas on how i can get it to start beeping at me again?

Im sorry to say I have tried this, it doesn't work. I have tried different wait times between when i press the buttons, and none seem to work. Any other thoughts?
A: press the trunk button and like right after hit the lock button...like a split second after and youll see the red light flash once at the top and that means it is working. If you do the same procedure again, it will blink twice telling you its not going to beep anymore.
Q: How do i know if my Acura is a California Model?
I am shopping for a new Cat Convertor becuase my check engine light is on and the diagnostic test show Catalyst problems.....so i dont know if my car is CA model or what! A: Yes...open the drivers door....there is a sticker just inside the door jam where the door striker pin is....it will have the info that you need.
Q: Can you help me find an Acura 2001 cl navigation manual?
I just got the dvd and it's a bit of a challenge to use so I'd like to find the manual. Also, will the manuals be the same if it's a acura nav manual or is it specific to the model.

Q: How do I know if my 2003 Acura rsx clutch is going out?
How do I know if my clutch is going out? And If my clutch is going out, what parts do I need to buy to change it? Can I buy a clutch kit? I have a 2003 Acura rsx type non-S.
A: hard to shift and slips and you replace all clutch parts and yes you can get it all most any parts store
Q: How much less from the MSRP did you pay for your brand new Acura?
Invoice price listed in either KBB/Edmunds? Or did you pay less than invoice? (is it even possible to haggle the price below invoice on an Acura??)

A: It all depends on the car, if it's a car that sells then you will most likely not be able to reduce it that much but it is really up to the manager, they can always go lower than the msrp.
Q: Is it really necessary to take an Acura to the dealer for an oil change or will a oil changing shop be fine?
I bought an Acura TL about 5 months ago and I am due for an oil change. I know the dealers act like you MUST take it there to have it done right, but will a place like jiffy lube work just as well?
A: you can take it any where you want to,the dealers would like for you to believe their the only ones that can change the oil in those,any oil changing shop can do this,and a lot cheaper also,as long as they use good quality oil and a good filter it will be fine,you don't have to run to the dealer every time it needs something like that ,good luck on it.
Q: Is it possible to install a navigation system on a 2004 Acura TL?
Can a navigation system be installed on a 2004 Acura TL? I know some do have navigation, but could one be installed in a non-navi TL? Are there better navi systems than Acura's factory system? Thanks.
I don't want a navigation system to put on the dash of my car, I want it where the radio is.

Q: Where can I get a bike rack for my Acura RSX?
I have an 04 RSX and I can't use the trunk racks because the top harness would have to on the glass (there is no metal frame on top). I dont want to pay more than $100 for this and the OEM Acura roof rack is above the 200's. Thanks for the help!

Q: How well does the acura tl's navigation system voice command work?
I am very interested in the effectiveness of the voice commands in the acura tl
A: It's an awesome feature. However, you have to spend some time learning the correct commands and the proper screens for the commands if you want to use it effectively. The only negative I've found with it is that the fan can't be up too high, or else your commands won't be understood. I love being able to change climate and stereo with voice commands in addition to navigation commands.
In my opinion, when I bought my 2005 TL w/nav, it was by far the best nav system available.

A: The Type S versions have more horsepower and sportier features on it. It depends on which Acura. Most of them just have different wheels if they are a Type S.
Q: How can I make my Acura TL 2002 fog lights into HID lights to match my blue-ish looking HID headlights?
Ok, I know very little about cars and what I'm trying to find out is where I can find some kits to look at that will change my Acura TL 2002 fog lights into HID's that match the headlights. Can anyone help me out?
A: you can get a conversion kit for your fog lights, if the fog lights are part of the headlight assembly the light bulbs are 9006 bulb, if the fog lights are separate for the head light assembly and on the bottom of the bumper it should be an H8 bulb . i recommend getting a a digital slim ballast kit for your car its easier to install.

I bought a 2002 Acura CL a few days ago and I noticed that it has fog lights underneath the head lights. I looked all over the manual but I can't find a way to actually turn them on. Does anyone know how to turn it on?
A: well in my 02 rsx type-s there is a button beside the steering wheel on the left, it's next to the button for cruise control. Check there, and if not, i don't know...
it might also be possible that they are on, but the bulbs are burned out or busted.
