I am thinking of buying a 200 Lexus ES300 that currently has about 77,000 miles on it. If it has been properly maintained, how many more miles can I expect to be able to put on it? Basically, I'm wondering how long I can expect to be able to drive it.

Retail is around $40,000 and they are not discounting much on this car due to demand. Try to get it for $38,000, but most dealers are not selling the car for more than a $500 discount. Anything up to $39,500 is a good deal for this car.
Q: How can I remove some scratches on the front of a Lexus?
The story is that someone swiped the front of my new Lexus IS 250 (color is smoky granite metallic clearcoat) and left a few minor-ish scratches. I know it's not too serious, but I was wondering if there is any inexpensive way to get rid of them or cover them up or something. Is going to an auto store or the dealer to buff it out the only way to go?

A: Hey Man,
Buffing out to do the job. Make sure and use a high quality buff application though. Once you have the equipment - you can even do it at home. If in doubt - check one of the garages for assistance. Hope it works.
Q: How do you remove stickers off your lexus es300?
How do you remove stickers off your lexus es300 like triple A stickers or a annoying christian bumper sticker, its been there quite some time and when i try to peel it, it cracks around. I'm not going to spend alot of money on this, so does anyone know a really really cheap way to remove it, i was just thinking of using hot water.
when i try to pull it off, the sticker cracks everywhere so i can't get the main thing off, only little bits.

Q: Is the 2007 lexus sc430 pebble beach edition the wrong choice for me?
I am 15 years old (male) and have been saving up my money since I was about 6 years old. Alas I am able to purchase my vehicle. At the top of my list is the Lexus sc430. I found a 2007 pebble beach edition for 25,000.00 and comes with only 3,000 miles on it. Is the red interior to girly? Is the sc430 a wrong choice for me all together?
A: Yeah it's girly. Buy a 4 year old BMW 330i instead. Looks masculine and will getter gas mileage plus it has that classic BMW styling.

It does have a security system with keyless entry. The car is not to old. My friend 90 cadillac has a factory keyless.
A: Coming from a Lexus dealer for the last 5 years it usually isn't free. Expect $40-50 for the service. Change the battery first. If it doesn't work google it and see what you can come up with. Unfortunately I am not at work, so dont have access to my computer to tell you or I would. I can tell you it is a very weird program in a sequence of 5-6 things.

A: that's not true, I have worked for Lexus and you don't need anything down, if your credit is decent. just put the amount down that gets you the payment and term that you want.
Q: how do i connect a sub amp to my stock lexus radio?
Hey guy's and gal's, I got a 2002 Lexus es300 and tried to put a sub amp in, but got no sound. I used the input on the amp that is a wire input, not the RCA input. Oh yeah the stock wiring I used frome the car is the pos/neg that goes to the stock 8inch sub in the rear dash. What am I doing wrong? Also the radio in the car is the premium sound system.
A: You answered your own question. You have the premium sound system in the car. IF you are adding the aftermarket amplifier you will have to bypass the factory amplifier. Because your getting an amplified signal from the premium sound system amp, going to the input on the aftermarket amp. They just don't work that way.
Q: Where are the current lexus commercials shot?
There are atleast two current commercials that appear to be shot on a desert airport. One has the new LS460h and it is driving on a road that makes it look like its flying through space. The other is a Lexus IS350 commercial where the car out accelerates a car that was dropped from a helicopter.(the IS passes the drop zone before the dropped car hits the ground).
I was wondering where the filming location is? I know it must be somewhere in SoCal, possibly the old Holtville airport but it doesn't really look like it to me.

I'm considering buying a Lexus, particually the GX470. But I hear that they are expensive to fix (if it breaks down) and maintain. How expensive could it get?
A: Cost to maintain from a Lexus dealer would be quite high. In line with BMW. But this car is really a Toyota 4Runner in lexus clothing. Most parts can be purchased at toyota if you know what part you need except for cosmetic parts that have logos on it, eg floor mats, etc.
Most services can be performed at an independent or Toyota for less than what lexus would charge but you will not get the ammenitites like a free loner car or free car wash, free coffee and doughnuts.
As to cost, all newer cars are expensive to fix at the dealer. The GX470 should not cost much more than a Toyota 4runner to operate and maintain.

Thank you for looking. I need to change the headlight bulb on my 07' lexus es350. My car currently uses the H7 bulb. I tried doing it and was able to reach the actual light bulb, but was never able to pull it out of the socket. Do I have to turn it left, or right or should I just pull it right out? A: It should give you instructions in the manual. If it's like my Grand Prix you have to twist it to get it off.

the dent is approximately as large as a fist near the backside of the car where you usually insert gas into the car. lexus year is fairly new:2007 or 2006. paint wasn't chipped off, but some of paint from the car that bumped into the lexus is on it.
